What does my PC know about Kurnaz?

Probably not much.  He's been marginalized by his family for having pitifully low breeding and much of his history has been deliberately obscured or erased during his work with various intelligence agencies.  If you have contacts with the All-Seeing Eye or the White Veil Society then you might know about him in a "Wait didn't we have a sleeper agent stationed in the south somewhere?" sense.

Back Story

Ledaal Kurnaz is the result of the “dalliances” his father took while away from home with a mortal camp follower.  Despite his fathers fine breeding Kurnaz was not particularly expected to exalt, due to the exceptionally low breeding (that is to say, none) possessed by his mother, so many were surprised when he did manage even if it was at such a late age.  Unfortunately even this happy event was marred by the nature of Kurnaz’s exaltation.  Commonly seen as an ill omen by the Scarlet Dynasty,  his elemental aspect is not shared by either of his parents, and this fact is not helped by his exceptionally poor breeding.  Among his relatives who have Exalted he is looked down upon with whispered jabs of him being an adopted Nellens being common.  The unexalted members of his family likewise hate him, despite his best efforts to reach out to them.  Ironically this rejection by his own erstwhile relatives has caused him to start up an affair with a Nellens patrician.

Ledaal Kurnaz is the half brother of Ledaal Kyrie, and bitterly bitterly resentful of her success and social standing within the family and the Dynasty as a whole.  Despite the amount he is looked down upon by his relatives, he has actually managed to provide a great deal of service for the family.  Because of his breeding, he is able to easily pass for human and move through mortal society unnoticed.   This ability, along with Kurnaz’s exceptional talent at it was not missed by other factions.  Both the All-Seeing Eye and the White Veil society took notice of his work in the various southern satrapies and he was successfully recruited into both clandestine organizations without cross knowledge.  His tenure with the All-Seeing Eye however seems to be at an uncertain end.  With the advent of the realm civil war he no longer has contact with head quarters, and seems to have been left high and dry once again, lost in the paper work of more important events.  This has been less of a problem in the more cell based structure of the White Veil society, and the absence of communication with Blessed Isle is not particularly missed.

The most influential event though in Kurnaz’s life to date, and quite likely ever, was his discovery of the broken manse beneath the Three Palms Well.  In the vast southern wastes, Kurnaz stumbled upon the Three Palms Well, the self descriptive name for a deep bore well in the middle a vast lifeless waste land.  In a last ditch effort to escape the sudden appearance of a firestorm Kurnaz dove down into the well, using his anima powers to wait out the inferno underwater.  However he discovered that the well was actually an entrance to some sort of complex buried deep beneath the desert sands.  He discovered...something... down there in the lightless submerged passages, possibly left over from the first age or even before.  Tragically though whatever he found in the dark has broken and fractured his mind.

The Wicker Men

A gang operating in the South, the Wicker Men function similar to a special forces team (which is in effect what they are); each member has primary and secondary skills that they contribute to the group.  They are bound to each other by a byzantine web of favors and life debts.
