Tu-Yin Zhou

The Emperor of Pain and Death

This walking skeleton of calcium and cojones stands only five feet, four inches tall, but is clad in overlapping sheets of soulsteel rings so small and so dense they ripple instead like lizard skin. The ringmail hauburk is belted with the mottled gray flesh of behemoths and wrapped about again with necromancer's robes that don't entirely close down his front. A loose, agile cloak flows over his shoulders and down to the heels of his thick, soulsteel-plated war boots. Blood red on the inside, black on the outside, and pinned at his shoulders with hearthstones like a legionnaire, the Lich King completes the cloak's regal look with a blackened crown of tainted orichalcum upon his shiny white head. The brow of the skull is furrowed, the perfect teeth curled into a permanent grin, and the empty, soul-harrowing blackness of the Void fills the empty sockets of his eyes.

IC Factoids:

Tu-Yin Zhou is one of the Lover Clad in the Raiment of Tears' top lieutenant, with only Melkin Fool in Red claiming higher authority. If the Melkin Fool is the velvet glove of the Lover's reign, Tu-Yin is the iron fist beneath it.

Tu-Yin Zhou commanded Void circle necromancy at the siege of Castle Farrant, though he has not been seen wielding it since. This is not unusual as Tu-Yin rarely flexes his greatest powers unless truly pushed, preferring to solve problems with the least amount of effort necessary.

Tu-Yin Zhou is seen as little better than an irreverent knave at best and in open rebellion against his Mistress at worst. Tu-Yin regularly raids the vaults of the Fortress of Crimson Ice and marches without orders to crush supposed enemies his Mistress is too lazy and distracted to focus on. Those who know the truth (Spies 5) understand that Tu-Yin is the enforcer of the Lover's anger, doing the dirty work so that she may continue to appear supine and ditzy. His resources are effectively limitless in this regard, and Tu-Yin's actions can be thought of as carrying the same weight as a direct missive from the Deathlord herself.

Tu-Yin Zhou was killed by the Bull of the North and holds a lasting grudge against the Solar and his nation. He is forbidden from waging open war against the warlord, however, as the Bull provides a convenient buffer between the Lover and the Bishop. Tu-Yin also served the Lover in life, and died an old man, making him the oldest non-ghost servant of the Deathlord, despite being a Deathknight himself for only five years.

OOC Factoids:

Tu-Yin Zhou is not a Player Killer. He's purely defensive except against NPCs.

Tu-Yin is pretty casual, but don't forget that he is still a deathknight. :P
