-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "Hey Breath, what were you looking for?"

-= OOC =- Breath says, "I was looking for a Burrow Lok"

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "What book can I find those in, and what area are you operating out of?"

-= OOC =- Breath says, "It's from compass of the Terrestrial directions volume 3, The East pg.155 for description and pg. 159 for stats"

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "Fair enough. I don't think thats too rare, considering your in 'The East'. So throw me your Wits + Survival roll, and spend your point of will. After that pose your search."

(Judge) Breath rolls Wits + Survival: [ 2 3 6 <10> ]

Resulting in 2 successes.

(OOC) Breath just spent Willpower from its Willpower pool

-= OOC =- Breath says, "I'm going to start by entering a temperate forest in the area. and once I locate that I'm going to try and find it's Den"

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "You pose by what your doing, I'll let you know how it goes :)"

Breath begins walking through the forest looking for tracks or some type of make shift cover to keep predators away.

As your walking through the forest you realize its hot, very hot. But that type of thing is normal for this far east. You start trying to track down your sacred prey, following animal tracks of those it would normally prey on. Trusting in Luna and your right as one of her chosen to show you the way. For hours you follow crisscrossed trails, dodging a pack of Claw Strider, and resisting the siren song of a Forest Mimic. You come across what looks to be a strange house made form a large tree, no... it is the strange tree. Behind the house is an obvious clearing.

Breath is ignoring the house and starts approaching the clearing. Keeping an eye out for any type of sinkhole or other natural hazards

You stalk past the house, to what must be a fence, if your better senses didn't know it was a hedgerow.

-= OOC =- Breath says, "Is there a roll that I could make to try and identify this hedgerow?"

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "Hrm for more details on this specific bush, I'm gonna run with Int+Crafts(Water) to know intricate details of the plant."

(Judge) Breath rolls 5: [ 4 5 6 7 8 ]

Resulting in 2 successes.

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "You notice the plant is normally a nuisance plant, renown for being a problem plant in farms of the east due to its deep roots, strong vine-like branches, and sharp thorns."

Breath starts looking around for any openings in this hedgerow be they natural or manmade

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "You see none."

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "But its only about chest height but, leaves obfuscate the interior."

-= OOC =- Breath says, "Are there any trees near it?"

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "No within 5 feet of the row."

Breath begins searching for a well secluded area near this house. someplace that would offer both seclusion from the any on lookers or from the house it self

You start searching the area around the house and near the fence row when you hear an hearty old voice, "Can I help ya stranga? Ya seem a bit lost"

Breath Turns around to see where this voice is coming from.

You search the house for the voice and you notice that the side of the house facing the hedgerow seems to have a back porch, and on that porch stands a man. He has golden-green skin and hair flowing like a field of summer wheat. He wears overalls and has a friendly look on his face.

Breath says, "I hope I didn't disturb you. I'm actually looking for a way over this hedge fence. I didn't want to cause any harm to it or myself"

The man jumps down from the porch with a spring in his step. "Well now it wouldn't be a good fence if people could just get over, now would it. Now what would one of your types be busy doing trying to get into my garden?" He says as he lifts a leaf that leads to what looks like a cellar in the large tree.

Breath says, "I wasn't aware that that was your garden behind there."

The man takes a few minutes, and comes out with a handful of branches and leave and various other plant-esque refuse. "Well now, you didn't ask did you?"

Breath says, "No that I didn't. So what do you do out here besides till your garden and care for your crops?"

"Well now, you are a chatty one aren't ya. You look like a man who has done his share of farm work, I'll tell you what. You tell me what you wanted with my field and I'll tell you what I do with my day" As he is saying this he pulls a very sturdy gray piece of wood from his back pocket, and begins to sharpen one of the larger leaves, as if taking a whetstone to a scythe.

Breath says, "I'm out hunting and I found this fence obstructing me moving on"

"Well thats mighty honest of ya, but the only thing you might find in that garden is a crafty old mole, damn thing eats my tubers. But best of luck to ya, I haven't been able to catch in a Siaka's age. I guess I'm just getting slow in my old age." He walks over to the side of the house and pulls down what seems to be a person sized leaf, which he uses as a seemingly effective wheeled barrow. "Hrm, I'll tell you what, if you give me a honest days hard work in my fields, I'll let you hunt the old bugger when he comes out tonight." He starts walking towards the hedgerow, which seems to part before him.

Breath says, "That sounds very fair and it might even be what I'm lookin for"

"Well son, daylights a burning, come on it." as he says disappearing in the hedgerow.

Breath follows the mysterious stranger into the hedgerow

As you walk through the hedgerow you notice the sun is very bright here. Once your eyes adjust you see a sight that is almost impossible. You see many times the acreage that the fence should have contained. And all of it is tilled farmlands, each containing various fantastic crops each in a different stage of growing. The man beckons you to follow and puts you to work tilling fields, by hand. The work is hard and long but you feel somewhat invigorate by the task, though even that feeling begins to fade as eventually the sun begins to hang low in the horizon. The olden man walks up to you, and he looks different. The spring in his step has sprung and he has a long beard of winter wheat. His flowing hair seems to have given way for barren fields. "Well youngin' its about time for that varmint to come out, I thank ye for the work, but its almost my restin' time." he says as he wanders off through the hedgerow with a walk that belays years of age.

-= OOC =- Breath says, "now over my working could I have seen anything that would resemble a badger den?"

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "You would have noticed a few declines in the soil around some of the more seasoned crops, but no movement to speak of."

Breath waits as the the sun sets for any sign of the beast

You sit there exhausted from your day of hard labor and watch the fields for any sight of your sacred foe. As the moon starts to rise higher in the sky, you notice some movement in a far field.

-= OOC =- Breath says, "Is there any wind?"

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "A gentle one, yes."

Breath even though it's not much he approaches his quarry from downwind. using the plants as cover.

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "I do?"

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "Give me a Dex + Stealth roll"

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "Add 1 dice for stunting"

Resulting in 5 successes.

(Judge) Davon Timinus rolls 9: [ -1- -1- 2 3 5 7 7 9 <10> ]

As you sneak upon your prey no notice stop and sniff the air. Much to your surprise as are downwind, the large badger-like creature freezes for a moment, sniffs the air, and ducks into a tunnel below itself.

-= OOC =- Breath says, "How big is the hole?"

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "Bout 4 1/2 feet wide"

Breath follows it into it's home

-= OOC =- Davon Timinus says, "So, yeah, can you see in the dark?"

-= OOC =- Breath says, "If I said yes would you believe me?"

The Burrow Lok sputtering blood out of its horse sized mouth as you impale your daiklave through its chest, its hearts blood pouring out over your hands like a warm, gooey fountain.

Breath drinks the blood taking in the splendor of this new form Luna has blessed him with

The young lunar emerges from the den resplendent with his caste mark in his new burrowing form. As his eyes adjust, he realizes that it is merely mid day and he is a clearing in the middle of the lush forest he started his journey on. A look towards the old man's house reveals the burnt remains of what once a temple. Upon further inspection the temple was once dedicated to some small god of harvest, his people long forgotten to time.
