Many charms or artifacts multiply some function of your character's power. These do not stack directly. Rather than x2 and x2 equalling x4, x2 and x2 = x3, x2 and x3 = x4, x3 and x3 = x5, and so on. Additionally, multipliers are always applied before adders unless explicitly said to do otherwise.
