Mist Town
The Mist Town Plaza rests at the heart of this tangle of three-story buildings, a wide expanse of well-kept cobbles and merchant stalls filled with bright colors and savory scents. Men and women from all over the city come to the plaza for their shopping, and the accents of a hundred kingdoms bark and dicker with the hard-pressed merchants. The folk have a contented and well-clad look about them that is uncommon in many of the other Hundred Kingdoms. The merchants do not crouch so thief-warily over their wares, and the market guard has the placid look of men not much harried by snatchers and footpads.
Mirudan tribesmen are more common in this quarter of the town, albeit neither are so often seen as the usual Greyfalls roil of busy local folk and nimble traders. Such crowds are often dewed by pale streamers of mist blown in from the falls to the south, the lashings of damp breeze responsible for the quarter's name.
