The following deviations from canon exist in regards to the Great Empty City

• The Fear aura as described in canon is no longer evident
• The city has a mile-wide zone of destruction that leads straight from the central palace to the wilderness, like a hand on a clockface.
• The center of the city, and many relevent manse, have sustained serious damage. The geomantic center of the city has devolved into chaos. Geomantic 'ripples' of this may be felt throughout the east.
• The city is currently occupied by a horde of Beastmen under the command of the Lunar general Ma Ha Suchi.
• The city has endured a week of systematic looting by the Beastman horde and the Lunar Exalted.
• The city is currently under attack by the undead army of Walker in Darkness.
• While many of the weaker models of automaton defenders have been destroyed, several unique automatons donated to the Empty City by Exalted artisans continue to protect enclaves.
